If I had a dollar, every time I heard someone complain about the problem of pet overpopulation, I would have enough money to buy a private island. And on that island would be a bunch of dogs that did need a second chance.
Hundreds of dogs are abandoned and surrendered to shelters and pounds every year. Those that don’t find homes are euthanized by the thousands in many communities each year. Just like this homeless dog suffering from a fatal disease called canine distemper and was left to die by the side of the road in Udaipur, India.
When the rescuer came to get her, she used her last bits of strength to wag her tail in affection towards them. That’s hope and happiness. Helping these homeless canines will make you feel rewarded in many ways.
This poor dog was suffering from a fatal disease – canine distemper – and was left to die by the side of the road in Udaipur, India. However hopeless the situation, the pooch still had faith. She used her last bits of strength to wag her tail in affection towards the rescuers that approached her.
The pooch was found by the members of Animal Aid Unlimited, an animal rescue center. They took the dog and treated her for 14 days with antibiotics and IV fluids. Luckily, soon she began to eat and walk again. Now she wags her tail with joy!
